We're At It Again...

We're in the process of launching a brand new store.  I know, we just opened this one but we never dreamed that the response would be so great.  We've hired a web designer to help us do a real store rather than a blog/store.  It will be a whole new look complete with secure check-out.  We are sooo excited!!!

We have three big shopping trips lined up right now to fill the store with even more "fabulous finds". 

The offering is going to continue to be thoroughly sought after and the store will be packed with the most unique found objects available.  We're going to showcase new designers and artisans as well as offer our own Providence Ltd. Collection.  Our goal is to be a valuable resource to designers and design enthusiasts alike. We're talking about those people who don't want what every one else has.That's you, right??

We're busily tagging and adding more pewter and silver to the store...

Adding these items today.  A set of eight pewter dinner plates, salad plates and mugs.  All vintage.  Pewter ice bucket and tongs, small silver pitcher and pilsners with fabulous crests.

Also added these wonderful, grungy old plateaus.  Just in time to add a little height to you holiday tablescapes.

Providence Ltd. Design Shop Grand Opening

So many last minute details.  We thought this day would never come.  But finally we're ready to pull the trigger!

 

Providence Ltd. Design Shop online is ready to launch.  Every last thing is unpacked, tagged and displayed.

The Grand opening is tonight.
The caterers arrived right on time...

Many of you know Eddie Ross, lifestyle expert and former Martha Stewart Living Editor.  He was in Little Rock recently and spoke at a luncheon benefiting The Fine Arts Club.  We have followed his blog for a long time and were thrilled to meet both Eddie and Jaithan.  They were so gracious and just downright  FUN!

Eddie is always full of fabulous tips for entertaining.  Thanks to many of his ideas this party is going to be over the top!

Debra Phillips with 5th and State has become a really good friend.  We have been in love with the fountain filled with drinks idea of hers for a long time.  Tonight ours will overflow!

You can't have a party without flowers..."Sister"  is a pro when it comes to this..They will be everywhere!

Mood lighting is everything...

And look at these wonderful hand dripped beeswax candles we have for sale in the shop.  Won't they be great for Christmas decorating?  Particularly in those places where you can't light them, at least it will look like you have...

 

What's a party without music?  These guys are set up near the bar right by the entrance.

So many details we hardly had time to dress, but we've been planning these ensembles for a while...
